The whole idea of HAVING to use this product or apple cider vinegar is due to PH. Go to the “Skin, PH and Microbiome” page here at Dr. Bronners. There is a scientific happening that occurs between alkaline and acidity using Castile soap and needing an acidic rinse. As a hairdresser of 40 years this info is used everyday in my field. It’s all VERY INTERESTING INFO!

Amazing Hair Rinse!

This hair rinse is a must if you’re using the soaps as shampoo! It’s definitely different than using cream conditioner, but I am very pleasantly surprised with the results. I wash my hair with the Lavender Sugar soap & for sure need a conditioner, so I tried this. For super easy application…I put a cap full of the rinse in a hair coloring squeeze bottle, fill the bottle up with 8oz of water, shake it up, then work the mix into my scalp down to my ends, leave it in while I wash my body and finally rinse my hair with cool water. I was utterly shocked by how well it detangles my hair! :) I follow up with the leave in conditioner, dry my hair by plopping because I have thick curly hair. Every single time my hair dries without frizz, full, with bouncy curls. It’s soo soft once completely dried as well. I can even go a couple days without washing again, just need a little refreshing finger comb through with a little more leave in conditioner. I truly couldn’t be happier with the routine. :) Great stuff!!
