Had thick reasonably well-behaved hair until a few years ago. When I hit 60 it got thinner and I also developed the cowlick from hell. It felt like my hair---which I'd never thought much about---had suddenly gotten weird on me and not in a good way. I was starting to become self-conscious about it, just tying it back most of the time. Asked my mom's hair dresser what the hell was happening and he smiled---just another indignity of getting older. He gave me some products and advice and I tried to learn how to use the smoothing stuff and the scrunch stuff and a hair dryer (another new thing for me). The learning curve was long and I results were just ok. I love Dr. Bronner's products. I've used the castile soap, sugar soap and Sal Suds for years. Did not know they made something like this. Spotted it when ordering soaps and decided to give it a try. Using it instead of the two "finishing" products (the smoothing stuff and the scrunch stuff) and am back to letting my hair just air dry and this is much easier and works a lot better too. And smells a whole lot better (a lot less chemical). And is a lot less expensive. So a win/win/win.
